The table tennis tournament was organized among the employees of ministries, committees and agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport and by the organization of the Table Tennis Federation on 8 December  2018. 

Vice-president of the Table Tennis Federation Fazil Mammadov on his speech at the opening ceremony, highlighted the great attention paid to sports in our country and care for the development of table tennis in recent years. The tournament was organized for the purpose of strengthening the health of employees of government agencies, conducting leisure time and promoting table tennis.

About 100 employees of the Ministries of Economy, Taxes, Emergency Situations, Justice, Youth and Sports, Culture, Education, Ecology and Natural Resources, State Customs, Statistical Committees, State Information and State Agencies for Citizens Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended in the event.
