Table Tennis Competition has been held within the framework of project "Support to the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games Youth Cup" on 23 April 2017.

With the helping of Table Tennis Federation and the organization of Azerbaijan Special Olympic Committee Republican qualifying competitions have been held between young and children who are mentally disabled on 18-19 April 2017.

In many countries around the world 6^th April is celebrated as a World Day with slogan “Table Tennis is everyone”.

Azerbaijan Championship has been held by the joint organization of Ministry of Youth and Teenagers and Table Tennis Federation among athletes born in 1999-2001, 2002 and smaller on 28-30 March, 2017.
